5.5x10.5 Vintage Distressed Kars Carpet

:: Large scale scrolling center medallion with trefoil finials atop an abrashed field and corner spandrel overlays reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Unusual coloration and playful shades but bold design motif. Colors and shades include: Dusty beige, blush, pale bronze, mint green, pink, fuschia, oxidized silver, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Fully secured sides and ends. Sides and ends have been professionally reduced. Two patches found in one corner with one measuring approximately 15" x 4" while the other is closer to 4" x 4". For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Kars carpet made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 5'8" x 10'7".
